Singapore, 31 March 2015 – Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd has once again taken the leading role in the office solution industry for its innovative products and solutions. Mr. Manuel S. Peralta, the President and CEO of Ricoh Philippines, represented Ricoh Asia Pacific to receive the prestigious title of Product and Service Innovation on 27th March, during the 3rd Annual ASEAN Corporate Sustainability Summit & Awards 2015.
This award recognizes the organization that demonstrates the most innovative ideas to reduce the environmental impacts in the lifecycle of its products and services. Ricoh is awarded as the winner in recognition of the integration of its Unified Communication System, Interactive White Board, Ultra-Short Throw Projector and Ricoh Smart Presenter application which allow global conferences to be organized in a low carbon footprint environment while demonstrating a high technology environment.
“This is the first time that our company, Ricoh, receives such recognition for the Product and Service Innovation Award in the Philippines.” Mr. Peralta expressed his joy, and said, “As a Global Technology company specializing in Office Imaging Equipment, Production Print Solutions, Document Management Systems and IT Services, Ricoh, is constantly improving and developing its products to provide new value for working people and mapping out how office of the future will supposed to be. Definition of “office” to us is the totality of the way people work, their business processes and work environment. As such, we focus on supporting work styles and simultaneously reduce the environmental impact.”
Organizations are changing their conventional work styles due to business globalizations, accelerated business speed, pursuit of labour productivity and transition in value standards. Ricoh adopted the creating shared value concept to grow business together with society. While more organizations began to demand for lower carbon footprint and create a work life balance, Ricoh is determined to establish a commendable reputation by supporting the development of the next generation, environmental conservation, and community development.
